Strategic Partnerships

Future Archaeologies, with its commitment to bridging the past, present, and future through its dynamic archives, seeks to form a strategic partnership with companies and institutions. These collaborations aims to leverage the strengths of both entities to create a synergy that benefits the artistic community, the broader audience, and the partners involved. Before embarking on a partnership, it's crucial to ensure that both Future Archaeologies and their potential partner share aligned visions and values. This alignment will serve as the foundation for all collaborative efforts, ensuring that both parties work towards a common goal.

Whereas the full funding of a separate Bureau, a partner could also provide financial support for specific projects or general operations of Future Archaeologies. In return, a profit-sharing model can be established, where the partner receives a percentage of profits from projects stemming from the archives or other collaborative endeavours undertaken in unison. If our partner operates in the tech sector or has robust technological infrastructure, there's also potential for collaboration in digitising the archives, enhancing the user experience, or even developing virtual reality or augmented reality experiences that would make selected concepts come to life through that media.

Partners can also sponsor events, exhibitions, or workshops organised by Future Archaeologies. This not only provides financial support but also offers these partners visibility and engagement opportunities with a diverse audience. Future Archaeologies' Talent and Catalyst programs can collaborate with partners’ in-house teams for workshops, training sessions, or even short-term projects. This exchange can foster innovation and fresh perspectives for both entities. We also envision our partners playing a pivotal role in bringing to life the concepts stored in the 'Possibilities Archive'. Whether it's through financial support, providing a platform, or technical expertise, our partners can be instrumental in the realisation phase of our concepts. Both entities can co-brand marketing campaigns, merchandise, or even specific events. This mutual promotion can enhance brand visibility and reach for both Future Archaeologies and a partner company.

A partnership between Future Archaeologies and its commercial and institutional allies promises a fusion of art, history, and contemporary innovation. By leveraging each other's strengths and working towards a shared vision, these collaborations can set new benchmarks in the world of art and business. Any collaborative projects or products will require clear agreements on intellectual property rights and licensing. Both parties must ensure transparency and fairness in these agreements. Regular feedback sessions can be scheduled to assess the partnership's progress. These sessions can highlight successes, identify areas of improvement, and chart the way forward. For the partnership to bear fruit, a long-term commitment is essential. Both Future Archaeologies and its partners are expected to invest time, resources, and effort into making each collaboration and partnership successful.

There’s no standardised framework for broad Bureau partnerships yet, however Production Frameworks are integral for concept realisations of and include the following:

  1. Concept Validation Before any concept is taken up for production, it undergoes a thorough review to ensure its feasibility, relevance, and alignment with the ethos of Future Archaeologies.

  2. Collaborative Planning The Poet collaborates with the interested institution or gallery to chalk out a detailed plan, covering aspects like resource allocation, timelines, and execution strategies.

  3. Budgeting & Funding A comprehensive budget projection is drafted, ensuring transparency in financial matters. This includes potential sources of funding, sponsorship opportunities, and revenue-sharing models.

  4. Quality Assurance Regular check-ins and reviews are scheduled throughout the production process, ensuring that the final output aligns with the Poet's vision.

  5. Post-Production Review Once the concept has been realised, a post-production review assesses the success of the project, gathering feedback for future endeavours.
